Projects and partnerships
Part of my work. I'd be glad to be part of yours too.
Coda: developing meaning
I co-founded Coda. Through Coda's open platform, nonprofits could submit requests for tech projects, and we invited computer science students together with industry professionals to build the solution for them.
In the two years Coda was active, about 25 projects were developed with hundreds of tech professionals, who gained experience in teamwork and team leadership. Among others, we built "Beit Mishelach", an app supporting people experiencing homelessness; "A One of a Kind Babysitter", an app connecting families of children with special needs with babysitters; "Latet Pe", a game app that is part of a child protection program; and an app for managing medical indicators for patients with pulmonary hypertension.

The Safe@Home hackathon for the Michal Sela Forum
During the first COVID-19 lockdown, as the distress of people living with violent relationships at home kept growing, I initiated a virtual hackathon, a concept that was new to all of us at the time. I did it together with the Michal Sela Forum, founded in those very days by Lili Ben Ami, and with amazing partners who joined the cause.
We set out to connect tech professionals with professionals working on the painful issue of domestic violence, to create tech solutions that raise awareness of warning signs, increase personal safety, provide help in emergencies and make information accessible.

Back2R&D
I established and led the practical track of a program that brings women with a tech background back into development roles in high tech. 54 participants in 9 teams built tech solutions for nonprofits and social entrepreneurs, guided by 22 industry leaders in tech lead, product management and UI/UX roles.

The #NowItsYourTurn online campaign
Together with Dr. Aliza Lavie and a wonderful group of partners, we launched the #NowItsYourTurn (#עכשיותורך) online campaign as part of International Women's Day. It invited women and men to tell the story of the woman who influenced them, and to create, through an image generator we built especially for it, their own campaign image with the woman they chose.
Hundreds of shares and thousands of comments filled social media for two weeks, creating a collection of stories of women who shaped us, whose stories are not always told, and a collection of insights about women who serve as role models and inspiration.
